Falling in Love with Fall

September 8, 2026 - Welcome to my new series, "Falling in Love with Fall." There is something about this season which stirs my soul. For me, autumn is that comfortable place between hot summers and chilly winters. I love the idea of grabbing a sweater and hot drink, and settling in for an early Christmas video. The idea of nesting, creating a space of coziness is more than just a good idea, it's a great one!

But what about when your own life is going through a change. Here are a few thoughts to consider:

1. Carve out some time every week to get outside and enjoy nature. Watching the changing of the seasons is a fascinating experience.
2. Slow down! That's what the trees are doing. Why not you!
3. Take time to observe the sunsets. Even if that means digging out that sweater that's been tucked away since last year.
4. What is your go-to hot beverage? Make sure you have plenty on hand for the coming months.
5. I find that as time goes by, I am reading less and less. How about you? Will you join me by finding a good book you've been planning on reading and just haven't gotten around to yet?

Depending on where you live, and what the weather patterns currently are, you might still be in the throes of summer when you get this newsletter. But all of us will go through different seasons in our lives. Why not use this time to navigate those changes, or prepare for changes that may arrive in the future?
