Falling in Love with Miracles

October 13, 2026 - What miracles do you need in your life? Better relationships? Getting our of debt? More peace in your life?

When we think of miracles, we often reflect of the interactions Jesus had with the people of His day who came to Him for healing and comfort.

But what about now? Miracles may not be as grand as in Biblical times and they certainly won't come by way of Harry Potter magic, but they will come way of the spirit of the Lord as we put our trust in Him.

  1. To look for miracles, maybe we need to re-define what a miracle is. Take a hard look at your own expectations when considering what miracles you desire.
  2. Consider the everyday small miracles we all may take for granted. A beautiful sunrise; a smile from the cashier at the store, or flowers blooming in our garden. Miracles don't need to be grand to be impactful.
  3. I believe we can create miracles in our lives and the lives of others. What can you do to bring something magnificent to life?
  4. One of the best ways to see a miracle is to express gratitude for all we have - even the challenges.
  5. When things don't go the way we want or expect, we may wonder where God is. But when we remember that He works all things for our good, we will see things from His perspective and that will make all the difference.

So, look for those miracles each and everyday and you will surely find them.

Iron Rod Press Newsletter Vol. 2, No. 46 Grateful Greetings Part 2 November 17, 2026 - As I sit down to write this newsletter, I am not feeling at all grateful. I have allowed myself to get overwhelmed by first world problems (all connected to technology) and can't see past my computer screen. That's when my husband reminded me that I do have so much to be grateful for - the gospel of Jesus Christ, the life that God has given me, and even the "bozo" (him!) that I am fortunate to be married...
